Since August 2023, the website has been run by
the 'Remembrance and Future’ Centre (Depot History Centre)
in cooperation with the Society of Wrocław Enthusiasts and the Silesian Genealogical Society.

This website and search engine was created as part of the project ‘Wrocław and Falstad will not forget! Polish and Norwegian views on totali¬tarianisms. Educational, research, exhibition, publishing and popularization activities on the different experiences of Wrocław and Falstad of Nazi and Stalinist totalitarianism during World War II’ benefiting from funding of PLN 1 549 303,02 received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway from the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014– 2021 and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the Culture Program, Action 2 ‘Improving access to culture and art’. The aim of the project is to implement a comprehensive program to popularize the Polish and Norwegian experience of Nazi and Stalinist totalitarianism in Wrocław and Flastad using the traditional and modern tools.
