PARISH CEMETERIES

There are 30 parish cemeteries in Wrocław, including a monastic one. Of the 70 Roman Catholic parishes in Wrocław (operating within 10 deaneries), 24 parishes have their own cemeteries, including five parishes managing more than one necropolis (i.e. two or three). Nearly half of the current 30 parish cemeteries are pre-war: seven of them once functioned as Catholic cemeteries, and five as Protestant necropolises.
